We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Technical Consultant to help us develop and increase our customer value.

What you’ll do

The Technical Consultant is a key client-facing role within Publitas where you will be scoping the requirements of a customer and identifying the best possible technical solution. You will be involved in providing pre-sales product demonstrations and evaluating proof of concepts to prospective customers, and/or existing customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and participate in client-facing workshops to scope and design a fit-for-purpose solution.
  • Create and lead product demonstrations.
  • Work closely with our Customer Success and Customer Acquisition teams to secure client deals & projects.
  • Identify & Design solutions to clients’ technical requirements.
  • Engage in pre-sales technical consultancy, providing technical assistance and guidance during all stages of the pre-sales process.
  • Support with RFP responses, bids, and tenders.
  • Create and deliver technical presentations and training internally and externally.
  • Support the Professional Services team by providing clear technical requirements for the designed solutions.
  • Proactively identify ways of improving the pre-sales processes and team documentation.

Who you’ll work with

You will join Phillip - Team Lead, Konstantin - Integrations Manager, and Yasmina - Project Coordinator, in our Services team, where everyone works together and contributes to the success of our product. You will also be working closely together with people from our Customer Acquisition, and Customer Success teams.

In total, we are a team of ~45 people that have a growth mindset and care about people, of 25 different nationalities in 17 locations around the world, which creates a unique and open-minded work environment.

What’s required

  • Fluency in English.
  • 4+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role as a technical presales engineer or presales consultant.
  • Ability to communicate technical requirements/notes to a non-technical user.
  • Ability to conduct meetings and follow up with all parties involved.
  • Ability to identify and engage key stakeholders.
  • Strong experience with e-commerce software implementations using direct API integrations.
  • Experience with providing solutions for integrating third-party web APIs.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and related web technologies.
  • Knowledge of Unix environments; strong user-level skills.
  • Understanding of technical and user-experience requirements for Salesforce, Magento, Shopify, Kibo, and similar platforms.

What’s nice to have

  • Previous experience working in the Martech industry.
  • Experience with Digital publishing, Marketing, and/or Retail clients.
