You may have noticed that some retailers have added their digital publications to their Facebook Pages. This is a great way to display a digital catalog or magazine to fans on Facebook. We created this short guide to help Page managers embed a digital publication on a Facebook Page, quickly and easily.

Simply put, we're going to help you add a Facebook Tab to showcase your publication. Here's what Facebook Tabs look like:

And here's what our example catalog will look like:

1. Search for and install Woobox Custom Tab

Log in on Facebook and search for ‘Woobox Custom Tab’, or click here. Woobox Custom Tab helps you manage your Facebook Tabs without the hassle. Once you’ve found the Woobox Custom Tab, click on Install Page Tab.

4. Enter the HTML for your page

Once you’ve authorized the Tab Application, copy the code below and paste it into the field "Enter the Html for your page".

<iframe src="https://www.yourcatalog.com" title="Embedded publication" width="100%" height="510px" style="display:block; border:1px solid #c7c4c0; -webkit-box-sizing: border-box; -moz-box-sizing: border-box; box-sizing: border-box;" frameborder="0"></iframe>

This code will allow you to display a publication in an iframe. However, you'll first need to replace the red part of the code to indicate which publication you want to display. You've got two options here:

a. Display a specific publication
Simply replace the first red part of the code with the link to your publication and the second part with the title of your choice. You can get the link to your publication by opening the preview of your publication and copying the URL from your browser's address bar.

b. Always display the latest publication of a specific group
In this case you'll have to replace the first red part of the code with the Group URL and the second red part with the title of your choice. You can find the Group URL by removing the publication name and page number from the publication URL.

5. Fill in Tab Name and upload Tab Image

Give your Page Tab a name by filling in the field 'Tab Name' and upload a Tab Image. This is the image your fans will see on your Facebook Tab.

Once you’re done, just click on Save Settings and that’s it! You have now successfully embedded your digital publication on your Facebook Page.

Bonus tip: Move your new tab so that it's visible on your page

It’s possible that, besides the Woobox Custom Tab, you’ve added other apps to your Facebook Page. If that’s the case, your new Custom Tab with your embedded publication may not instantly appear on your page. To change this, click on the "more" button found on the right side of your tabs. Then click "manage tabs". Here you can easily move the tab with your embedded publication higher up in the list. Just make sure it's in the top 4 tabs and that’s it!
